CHEMOSVIT FOLIE, s.r.o., is the biggest of the Chemosvit Group companies. Its line of business involves the production, converting and sales of packaging material. It is among the biggest players in flexible packaging films converting in Central Europe. In 2017 its turnover reached over € 95 mil.
Trade agency of the company is in Bonn, Germany.
TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES of the company:
1. FILM PRODUCTION:
- blown polyethylene tubular films
- cast films based on PE, PP, PA
2. Pre-press:
- entire processing of graphic data for offset, flexo and rotogravure print
- production of printing image carriers (cylinders, plates / sleeves) for rotogravure (engraving) and flexo (laser exposure) printing
3. FILM CONVERTING:
- Rotogravure print up to 11 colours, reverse patterned cold-seal and unique random numbers coding options included
- Flexo HD and standard print up to 10 colours
- Lamination based either on solvent or solvent-free adhesive system
- Metallization

- Free Shape Laser Scoring

Almost 50 % of total production of CHEMOSVIT consists of packaging materials produced by CHEMOSVIT FOLIE, s.r.o., intended, in particular, for the packaging of food products. Its flexible packaging films are demanded by local, as well as foreign customers. Among them are big multinational producers of confectionery, biscuits and chips, and also hygiene products from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Benelux, Ukraine, Russia, and other European states.
CHEMOSVIT FOLIE, s.r.o., has been flexibly responding to the requirements of clients, which assumes continuous investment in upgrading the existing technology and machinery. These days, we dispose of up-to-date environmentally-friendly installations in all stages of production.
The production of packaging films is complex. It includes the development of graphic designs, production of printing forms for flexo and rotogravure printing, up to 11-colour printing and the subsequent lamination and slitting options. Film converting includes extruded PE polymer and OPP films made by the joint-venture of Tatrafan, s.r.o., Svit.
The international certificates awarded to CHEMOSVIT FOLIE long time ago stand for a guarantee of reliable, top quality packaging film supplies (system of quality management, environmental protection, health and occupational safety, product safety, BRC, logistics management, etc.). In 2013, CHEMOSVIT FOLIE became a winner of the National Quality Award in category of manufacturing companies employing over 251 people. It has also been a member of SEDEX System (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) from March 2012, with a B-type membership. A successful audit checking social responsibility of the company, labour safety, environmental friendliness and ethical business, was performed in November 2012.
It is necessary to mention the systematic, long-term building of the company internally, as well as in relation to external environment.
