Environmental care is a concept taken by CHEMOSVIT FOLIE, s.r.o., towards the environment. Our goal is to maintain or improve its quality with respect to all organisms, including humans, while adhering to the principles of sustainable development.

Responsible Care

The aim is to constantly increase environmental care, health and safety in the production and use of chemical products. Responsible Care is a global commitment of the chemical industry to align business activity with increasingly demanding aspects of safety, protection of human health and the environment.

The programme is characterized by eight features adopted and approved by the ICCA. The National Chemicals Associations are responsible for the detailed implementation of the programme, and each programme must contain eight essential characteristics.

One of the basic conditions of the Responsible Care initiative approved by the International Council of Chemical Association ICCA is the requirement to adopt a name and logo that clearly identify national programmes as part of a single global programme.

IPPC

Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control is a way of regulating selected industrial activities while achieving a high level of protection of the environment as a whole (waste, air, soil, water) and ensuring such operating conditions in these activities that do not allow the transfer of pollution between the individual environmental compartments. The main goal of IPPC is to prevent its pollution or to limit its occurrence by choosing suitable, environmentally friendly production processes and technologies of the best available techniques (BAT).

Information for the public

Disclosure of information on environmental pollution according to § 33a of Act no. 17/1992 Coll. on the environment. A legal entity, which is obliged according to special regulations or decisions issued to measure the amount of a specified type of discharged substance (emission) into the air or water or to monitor another environmental impact of its facility, is obliged to publish the results of these measurements and monitoring in a generally understandable form and a generally easily accessible place.
