Certified competition

OBAL ROKU is a unique certified packaging competition designed for Czech and Slovak companies involved in an interesting packaging solution. The aim of the competition is to highlight and then promote the best ideas, innovations and packaging technology that are on the market. Parallel, it is possible to publicly appreciate the work of packaging graphic and structural designers. This contest for the best packaging solution is certified by the global packaging organisation World Packaging Awards

We are very proud to have succeeded with our packaging solution for Tatramelky – puffed rice cover in a delicious caramel. The product has traditionally been packed into OPP-based laminate.

Chemosvit Folie has developed a more eco-friendly paper packaging with a heat-sealable layer on the bottom side.

The paper was printed on the Offset machine with EB curing system, which is a more eco-friendly solvent-free technology. In cooperation with the packaging machine manufacturer, the machine was adjusted so that it was able to package not only films, but also paper. Our Pre-press studio designed an attractive folk motif and limited edition is sold in Tatra mountain huts.

The paper is fully recyclable, bio-degradable and soluble in water. The paper waste thus does not harm the environment.

Development of this packaging enabled us not only to replace the PP laminate by paper packaging, but we can also give an advice to our customers how to adjust the packaging machines to be able to use both materials, films and paper without limits.
